R-248 is rutile-based titanium dioxide produced with sulfuric acid process. Its inorganic surface treatment is done with zirconia and alumina, while its organic treatment is done with organic treating agent suitable for normal plastic application, thus shaping a high processibility of titanium dioxide in plastic application.

R-248 is specially used for plastics and color master batch. It has high gloss and high resistance to elements. Its fine particle size makes it has good whiteness with blue undertone. Besides, the low oil absorption and high dispersibility makes R-248 keep a high processibility and wettability in plastic application.

Packing specification and Storage
R-248 is generally packed in 25kg scale paper-plastic composite bag or 500kg scale or 1000kg scale large bag. It can be stored for a long time under moisture-proof condition.

Safety protection
Person shall wear gloves and protective cover when touching with Tio2.
Although it is not to be dangerous in case of skin touch, it is still recommended to clean the skin with water after use.
